Segundo fontes, a Monsanto discutiu seu interesse na Syngenta nas \u00faltimas semanas.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Juntas, Monsanto e Syngenta se tornariam o maior player do mundo nos ramos de sementes e produtos qu\u00edmicos para planta\u00e7\u00f5es e fortes concorrentes de Bayer, Basf e Dow Chemical. A su\u00ed\u00e7a Syngenta \u00e9 a maior fabricante mundial de produtos qu\u00edmicos para planta\u00e7\u00f5es, enquanto a Monsanto lidera a fabrica\u00e7\u00e3o de sementes e o mercado global de gr\u00e3os geneticamente modificados.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Combinadas, as empresas vendem US$ 30 bilh\u00f5es por ano e responderiam por 33% do mercado global de sementes e 28% do com\u00e9rcio de defensivos agr\u00edcolas.
